A million years ago [ok more like 30] I was carving lino and thought I was smart mounting it on wood to print cloth.... Fast forward 15 years and on the spur of the moment I realised my kids were growing up and I needed to get a life, so I booked a ticket and 2 months later was sitting on an airplane going to Rajasthan. Sort of crying because all I had was a ticket and 2 nights' accommodation and the plan to get a life, no idea what to do when I got to Delhi but head for Rajasthan. Let me tell you, I had to check on a map before I left exactly where it was! What a shock to the system.... Got to Rajasthan after this, that and the other and discovered the world of blockprint. What a revelation!! It is a long slow process but ooohhh so rewarding. I am the worlds messiest printer and so have evolved styles that rely on my eye, Parwun our workshop printer can be oh so exact and also loosen up and follow my lead with our more creative prints. #thestitchingproject #creativeartssafaris #storiestotell #travelwriting #textiletravels #textilestories #weaving #khadi #crafttours #textiletours #traveltolearn #travelwithlove #experientialtravel #handsonexperiences #wanderandwonder #culturaltourism #learningholidays #traveldeeper #visitthevillage #offthebeatentrack #littlevignettes #inspiredtravels #travelwithus #travelwithlove #meetthelocals #lovekhadi #blockprint  Found much more than I was expecting, by the way 😊
