Does your heart give a little flitter flutter when you look at this lovely stack of fabric? Yes? I think you are one of us. The textile afflicted- we have the bug to be textile addicts.... Some of us are just sensitive to good textiles- we appreciate the design, the workmanship, the incredible skills that goes into making the pieces sing..... Happy for the odd grope and the lovely eye candy memory..... Some of us have a great desire "to help the local economy" and acquire a few pieces to take home and "Will do something with them" most likely. Some us of are just totally addicted and knows Midas was wrong to lust after gold, textiles in all their many and varied forms is the true gold at the end of the rainbow, and on tour the only limiting factor is how much you can stuff in your suitcase. We have all types on our tours, often with a similar longing for textile fixes- none dangerous just enthusiastic pursuers of cultural experiences and fine textiles, and it is a lot of fun to share the experiences with them. This gorgeous stack comes form the magnificent studio of Dr Ismail Khatri or Ismail Bhai [Ismail Brother] such an inspiring person- visiting him, and his family workshop is always a well-remembered part of our Gujarat Tour. Next tour is in November, happy to have you join us. #creativeartssafaris #textilefix #Gujarat #textiletravels #crafttours #textiletours #traveltolearn #travelwithlove #experientialtravel #handsonexperiences #culturaltourism #learningholidays #traveldeeper #weaving #khadi #wanderandwonder #visitthevillage #offthebeatentrack #inspiredtravels #travelwithus #travelwithlove #meetthelocals #enjoythemoment #storiestotell #craftstories #travelwriting #textilestories #littlevignettes #loveindianfood #foodie
