Thanks for all the words of sympathy, I was being a bit of a whinger the other day....
I am usually happy to zoom off somewhere....but find I am becoming a bit of a home body now....
What a day, running around to check on things and leave final instructions and say 'see you soon' to everyone!!
Our gelhari [chipmonks, I think in English] gets its early morning work out....
Hotel 1 is looked after by Rajendra, who does a good job....
In the garden, Kanchen and assistants were madly finishing off a design to be sent to Leafy Sea dragons today....she is laughing saying no photos she has not had time to brush her hair yet!
Hotel 2 and Vijay Singh, our manager is a very nice happy chap, loves the garden so all our plants are looking very happy, he has a good way with the staff as well- they are a hard working and friendly group- we are lucky to have them.
Our field of Mung beans are growing really well, we are going to have a huge crop- Mukesh [our house caretaker] is holding the first picking...we wait for the shells to go black and papery, then pick and spread them on the floor to dry further....there will be nearly 2 months of this....then shelling and storing for the year. Happily I get back in time to finish off the job....
Praveen still working on his chicken house- we will have chooks by the time I get back
At the end of a long day, a little time to sit in the Studio Courtyard and relax.....
