so excited!! we are almost there.....

Oh I am bursting with excitement...and it is hard to contain myself and act with proper decorum!! I want to bounce up and down and kiss Praveen crazily, but that is simply not possible in our own house yet as there are other people around and it is NOT the Indian way!
He is nervous because he knows how excited I am....the bench tops are in place in my kitchen....and surprise of surprises yesterday we were offered a proper stove and oven, second hand. it is in quite good condition and we snapped it up- a real stove yippee! The Indian style 3 burner is fine but I do miss a good oven;  a microwave/ convection thingy is just not the same....
Kitchen in afternoon light looking down towards sitting room.
yes it is all still an ode to cement grey...so just imagine in some nice white tiles and white walls and emerald green marble on the bench tops and you can see why I am bouncing!!!looking along dining room to the bookshelf next to door on right to terrace and Studio Courtyard.[yes Dawn dear they are not quite straight] but the guys did the whole house by hand with just a clear water hose and plumb bob to level things and the biggest piece of machinery was a hammer!
A little private aside to my mate Dawn - she has the most amazing eye for 'true' when making things but even I can see the slight wonk there...full of books and stuff it will be fine.
Early morning light flooding my office- yes!! I am usually up as the sun rises this is a treat!
Looking out the dining room door into the Studio Cortyard and lovely shade and breezes and sssssooooo peacefully quiet.

From the main gate looking toward dining room door- The Pukka Studio is on  immediate left. Do admire Praveen's gates- true fancy Indian styling- sometimes when there are 2 of you doing something you just need to shut your mouth and say "yes dear, that is lovely" and they are starting to grow on me....Hanging at the water cooler....
Praveen did say he would like to bouce around and be excited too...he quite liked the idea of me kissing him...if we weren't in India-
good man.it helps me act with decorum when needed knowing he feels the same way inside and it makes it even more exciting when there is no one around.....
