It is early days still, but things are eveloving nicely, Jen Hyland is slowly opening the doors of her new studio space...I visited recently and love the location - it is an old, old blue stone mill complex being converted into workshops and studios- lovely huge old trees surround, a babbling river behind and a huge studio are.
Here you will see all her vintage treasures and yardage, a large area for workshops [ she is anticiapating the work tables to arrive any day to go next to the one she already has [might be a small amount of teeth nashing - the guy is a month late]
AND
Look at those lovely big quilts on the wall- we stitched them for her....finally I can brag...I love the eleganze of her design ethetic and the feel of the hand quilted quilt when it is finsihed....does almost make me wish I lived in a colder climate so I could sleep under a stack of them.
So pop in and visit her,
a very big congratulations from us in India may a fabulous new adventure begin.
